Working with Burger King franchisee Group 2029, Inc. for their 17th major project together since 2009, Barber & DeAtley, Inc. oversaw this project from concept to the finished project.  Our work included a complete update of what had been a worn out store, including a 1,250 square foot addition featuring high ceilings and high facades, and very large windows.  The project also involved removing the mansard, building the addition, gutting the existing store down to the outside walls, and installing all new finishes.  A complete overhaul of the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems was also performed, and the parking lot was reconfigured and expanded to add a second drive thru lane, including relocating existing power lines near the store.

As General Contractor, Barber & DeAtley, Inc. performed project visioning, selective demolition, setting of trusses and structural steel, interior and exterior wood and metal framing, siding, and all interior finishes, including cabinets, wainscot paneling, chair rail, furniture, and all decorative elements.  Barber & DeAtley, Inc. also provided supervision and coordination of all subcontractors on the project, including those working under separate contract with the owner.
